Great

You need a subscription for it but it really has a lot of great content. I found a lot of good tutorials for many cs topics.

Organization Account doesnt work

I was trying to use my organization account, doesnt works always and getting error all the time. But it is working fine in regular browser.

Great place to learn

If you truly valuable your career, do yourself a favor by taking Lynda courses

Great, but…

This is a great app for viewing Lynda.com videos on your iPad. But one significant feature is missing from this and the Apple TV app: transcriptions. When viewing Lynda.com courses directly on their website through your browser, they offer transcriptions of what the instructor is saying. This is handy in instances where you have difficulty understanding what is being said for some reason. Unfortunately, neither the iPad nor the Apple TV app offer this feature. This is a serious oversight that I hope the folks from Lynda.com/LinkedIn will correct soon. Once they do that, the app should be able to be upgraded to five stars.

Great!

Ive watched a few marketing and small business videos. So far so good! The videos are short yet concise. Wonderfully made.

Great way to learn music production

instructors are very easy to follow and lessons flow exactly as they should. Extremely easy to replay and pause as you go. Folks, this is some very cool stuff and great way to learn.

iOS app loaded with bugs

I go to Lynda first when learning a new skill or platform, but the app has been buggy lately. The launch screen image is blurry, the video overlay becomes unresponsive in landscape mode, and can fail to load all course videos after search. Please fix these soon!!

Makes it easy

The greatest app to learn, Im enjoy learning on it!

Great app and service

The app is great. The service is fantastic. Excellent content! Would be 5 stars if they fixed the audio cutoff problem of last 5-10 seconds of videos in iPad app (not a problem via web). If it matters, I watch everything on 2x speed (which I love!!!).

Indispensable.

Lynda is an amazing resource. Im a visual learner and the courses Ive taken are so well done, so easy to follow, and so comprehensive that its like having a world of learning at my fingertips. Im a premium member and the opportunity to download the videos and watch them while Im flying or away from an internet connection makes it a double worthwhile investment. My monthly fitness club membership is my non-negotiable investment in my body. My monthly Lynda investment is my similar investment in my mind. Lynda rocks.

Microsoft system center not on Lynda.com

Microsoft system center not on Lynda.com . This should be a course offered as its a major part of Microsoft server services in windows server.

Easy to use, well organized videos, critical topics

Ive been a Lynda.com member for years. The videos are easy to use, well organized, and cover the critical topics and software packages you need to stay on top of your career. Each movie is broken into modules. Dip into a class to learn a tip or trick or watch the entire thing. Highly recommended.

Awesome sauce

Ill always use Lynda to learn new applications. Its been a dream come true since I am unable to take these classes in college. High five!

Thank you

Speechless...

really needs improvements.

it doesnt bookmark your location in each video so when you get back to a video you have to guess where you stopped. manual bookmarks would be great as well. lastly, whenever I watch videos at 1.25x speed, the audio and video fall out of sync and sometimes the audio totally fails. very disappointing.

Better than Netflix

I love Lynda.com like crazy and have used it to dramatic success to develop practical skills that improve my works effective connection to an increasing audience. Ive easily watched Chris Orwigs tutorials on portrait photoshop editing 30 times over. And the public speaking course - Communicating with Confidence by Jeff Ansell is also a huge help that I utilize to hone my speaking and performance skills. The way Lynda.com organizes the lessons in bite sized portions makes learning exactly what you need to know very easy to sort find as well. Ever try to learn a skill on YouTube and wade through 10-15 minutes of useless narration before you get the help you need? Try Lynda.com instead.

Best training ever

Best money I have ever spent on training. So many subjects and almost all videos are stellar.

Great learning tool

I enjoy learning using Lynda. The tool is pretty good too.

Membership Not Supported

Make sure you have the correct membership or this Lynda app does not work. My membership is through the county library and when I tried to put the URL for the library login, the app said that membership was not supported and that I must use a browser with that membership. Just another gated community. ;-)

The best iOS learning video platform

Ive been using Lynda on my laptop for years, but I never felt like was getting the most out of it. Over the years, the number of topics has ballooned, which is great, but getting it on my iPad and iPhone has greatly improved my learning experience. Lets face it, its had to watch a video on a laptop and work through the exercise files at the same time. Now, I can run Lynda on my iPad and download the files on my MacBook Pro - working along with the lesson rather than after viewing. The quality of the lessons, which has to be a bottom line here, are excellent so Lynda is an all-around win.
