I am able to find courses quickly and save them to a playlist. Every version is always better than the last. Keep it up Lynda!

Pushed for and received subscriptions at work. Has already paid off by giving me new skills—which I have applied. As I prepared a statement about Lynda for our branch managers, I reflected on the fact that I have used it on my computer, phone, iPad, and even watched courses on my AppleTV. With Lynda, I learn the way I live.
Im fortunate to have access to Lynda.com through my work. The wealth of information is incredible. For my work, Ive used it to learn more about project management and software such as Adobe Captivate that I use in my job. As a serious amateur photographer in my personal life, Ive found the tutorials have greatly expanded my knowledge of the craft and improved my technical skills. Ive watched well over 200 hours of trainings and havent come close to exhausting the useful content. My playlist just continues to grow. If I didnt get this through my work, I would definitely buy my own subscription.
The interface works well, this is good for having a training session on the run or even to play the video while working with the exercise files on a desktop at work. Itd be nice if exercise files were downloadable but thats a reality of the iPad and iPhone.
The app is smooth and flexible. Interactivity is insightfully organized. One the best online subscription services available, bar none!
Lynda.com has been good. Hated to see them sell out to LinkedIn.
As a contractor, Ive been working with this app for the past 3 years. The IT courses are spot on primers for the gigs where businesses look for unicorns and offer no onboarding. I work about two courses a month and it is all time wells spent. I highly recommend buying a write-off subscription (low cost/high return)! Thanks Lynda.
I love this app because it has so many great topics and is so easy to look through the topics and so easy to use anywhere.
Downloadable content, vast library, typically thorough instructors, makes for a great experience. Thanks.
Ive used at least four other online Photoshop courses; this one - Photoshop Essentials with Julieanne Kost - is by far the best by order of magnitude. Its a very in-depth and detailed presentation, as compared to some of the quick and dirty courses available. Each course element is only about 5 minutes, so you can learn and practice, and stop and start as needed. Highly recommended.
Seriously! The concise, professional, current information in the courses at Lynda are better than most of the courses I ever took in grad school (MBA). And if youre interested in learning a little about something you plan to outsource, Lynda gives you the ammo to seek out appropriately and not get ripped off. I recommend it to so many people in my networks.
I have been using Lynda.com for a few years now and have always found the instructional videos to be of top quality with good production values. Learning new skills is difficult enough without having to interpret the mumblings of a subject expert who shoots their instructional videos on the fly. Luckily Lynda.com videos are professional quality reducing your barriers to learning.
I recently invested in the premium Lynda.com subscription and have really been enjoying the courses on topics such as art and various Mac software packages and apps. This app makes it very easy to search the Lynda.com library and download courses for watching on-the-go. My one-point deduction is for lack of split screen support in iOS 9 - I want to be able to watch videos about iOS apps while I work alongside the video in the app Im learning about.
There are so many topics available and the production quality of the courses is fantastic. There are some really interesting instructors. Its easy to go down a rabbit hole once youve signed up.
Great learning platform. However, I rate it 5 stars as this applies to the app directly. If you use this with chromecast, the audio routinely runs on both the chromecast and the app, ruining the experience. The only workaround Ive find is to mute the iPhone during playback.
Split-screen support for IPad IPad pro resolution
This app wont open. Its on "loading" status forever. I am unable too remove it because its in "loading" status.
The controls for the video player are incredibly finicky. Swiping in any direction causes you to move forward or backward a video without saving your spot. Which is beyond frustrating when even the tiniest touch is interpreted as a swipe.
Lynda.com has been a fantastic resource for several years now. Great way to learn something new or sharpen the saw on skills that have dulled over time. The primary site and app go hand in hand, and the service seems to have gotten even better since the LinkedIn acquisition. Happy learning!
I like it and it does help, however I wish they had some power point slides on the presentations or something like that, that allowed you to keep the notes as I do t want to have to download the entire course. Understand there are notes for premium access members but for those who dont have it, there still should be a way to be able to go back and consult the notes
